My addiction to clay began while undertaking a Bachelor of Art Education degree at Newcastle University. Ceramics became my studio major and I would often take off to the ceramics area for a mud fix.
My teaching career took me to western Sydney and the Riverina area, where I always managed to introduce ceramics as part of the curriculum. Currently, having returned to Newcastle, I am completing a Diploma of Ceramics at TAFE.
