Great creative learning atmosphere for children aged 8 years and older
Gallery Shop Award Exhibition
All members of Newcastle Studio Potters Inc. are invited to articipate in two themed ceramic competitions each with awards of $250 (first place) and $100 (highly commended). Submissions will be clay sculptural or functional interpretations of the themes.
Award Exhibition - March: Life isn’t always black and white
Award Exhibition ‐ August: Vessels for pouring
Each three-week exhibition will take place in the Gallery Shop coincident with an exhibition in the main gallery.
Works will be judged on the basis of both technical skill and artistic interpretation and winners will be announced at the exhibition opening.
Conditions of entry:
- 1. Participants must be financial members of NSP Inc. for 2010. (Membership forms can be found at www.newcastlepotters.org.au/membership.asp )
- 2. Participants may submit up to two pieces made in the preceding twelve months.
- 3. There is no fee for participation.
- 4. All works will be available for sale under existing gallery shop conditions except that the award-‐winning pieces will remain (highlighted) in the Gallery Shop until the close of the exhibition.
- 5. An entry form must be submitted in advance.

2010 Calendar
Newcastle Studio Potters and Back to Back Galleries have a great line up of exhibitions. There are also various workshops and events scheduled but we welcome your ideas and requests.
